Why Are Humans So Selfish

Here’s Why Are Humans So Selfish an inspiring story to understand humans are so selfish that a giving tree is not enough for a human being’s entire life.

Once there was a mango tree in the forest near a small village.

A small boy named Ramu used to spend his time playing with the mango tree.

He used to climb the mango tree to eat mangoes and take a nap under the tree.

Ramu loves to play with the mango tree and the mango tree too loves to play with the boy.

But many days passed but Ramu didn’t turned up to the mango tree.

One day Ramu came and the mango tree was so happy to see him.

The mango tree told Ramu to play with him but Ramu denied playing with him.

He said now I am not a small child to play with the tree, now I want toys but I don’t have enough money to buy them.

The mango tree said you can earn money by selling the mangoes in the market.

After listening to this Ramu became happy.

Ramu plucked mangoes and went away happily.

Ramu didn’t turn up to the mango tree for a long time.

The mango tree became sad but one day Ramu turned up to the mango tree.

But now he has become a man, the mango tree happily told Ramu to play with him.

Ramu said now he has become a man and he doesn’t have time to play with him.

He said now I have to work hard for my family and want to build a house, can you help me?

The mango tree said you can cut my branches and build a house.

Ramu broke all the branches of the mango tree and went away happily.

Again, for years Ramu didn’t turn up and it made the mango tree sad again.

But one day Ramu turned up and came to the mango tree.

The mango tree said Ramu come and play with me.

But he denied it and said now I become old and want to live a peaceful life so I wanted a boat.

The tree said to use my stem and make a boat.

Ramu went and didn’t turn up for years.

But years later one day Ramu came to the tree, and the tree was so happy to see him.

The tree said now I don’t have mangoes, Ramu said I don’t have teeth to eat mangoes.

The tree said now I don’t even have branches to play.

Ramu said now I am also very old now to climb the branches.

The tree said now I have nothing left to give you except the roots.

Ramu said now I don’t need anything and I am tired and want to rest now.

The tree said the roots are the best place to take a rest.

Ramu sat down and started resting.

Inspiration

A tree that keeps on giving its whole life and man keeps on ignoring its value.

Conclusion

We see in life how we cut trees for our benefit but we forget that the trees give us fruits, shade, and wood.

If we can’t plant trees then don’t even cut them.
